  • Thiem is so determined and focused and in greaf physical shape. Still I think he puts so much effort and strength in his ordinary baseline shots and is reluctant to create the point first. I think he should use more variety and risks in rallies and more frequently change pace, switch from spin to slice, go to net, use dropshots..He is very talented and yet strategically sometimes looks like counter puncher..

He has also won more Grand Slam matches (17) this year than any other player at this event and has a 24-7 record for the season."

  • People say that rafa is good only on clay and not on other surfaces. Its because he is so outrageously good on clay that his records on other surfaces look mediocre at best. But people don't realise that even if you remove 13 GS from his total tally he still has 7 GS to his credit . How many tennis players has won 7 GS ( except the best )

  • OK let's be honest There are no close tennis matches! just 3 top players that are getting older. The level of tennis is seems to be great just because of that but the truth is that the level of tennis is not gonna be the same like it use to be this last decade. And when the top 3 player will retire we will get use to this new average level of tennis.

    Lazy OwlyLazy OwlyIl y a 13 jours

  • Many will say "Nadal coward"? ... because his game is: playing against good players, Nadal only wins if the opponent makes much more unforced errors than normal eg. Djocovich in R. Garros2020 (Nole 56ENF - Nadal 14) Wabrinka idem..Roger idem .. Del Potro idem..etc But when they face him as equals, without any fear, and with a hunger for victory, Darcis beats him ... Rosol beats him ... Brown beats him ... Tsonga beats him ... Berdych beats him ... Cilic beats him ... Coria beats him ... Gaudio beats him ... Lapenti beats him ... Corretja beats him ... Gonzáles beats him ... Moya beats him ... Ferrer beats him ... Ferrero beats him ... Verdasco ... Ceballos beats him ... Del Potro beats him ... Thiem ... Shuazrtman ... Zverev and many more ... and it is when he loses that you will see how Nadal immediately appeals to exaggerated celebrations when he manages to win an important point, especially when it is a simple mistake of the opponent in attack that goes by millimeters ... no one tell me that this is a sign of courage, or a good player ... yes, of spite ... .yes, of a bad loser ... if of seeking to affect the rival psychologically ... something "legal" but ethically pathetic .. ps: Corretja and Dustin Brown are 2-0 in the face to face against Nadal ... Alex already buys that result for life ... Brown can still beat him several times more ... thank God the Talent will always be superior to the best of efforts ...; )
