  • Personally, I think Sinner has the attributes, and shows signs of future top 10, dare I say world no.1. He has the ease about him, moves very well for a tall guy, free points on the serves, calm and professional, level headed. Just needs a few big matches on the big stage on a regular basis, test his fighting spirit, and I think we could have a contender. It would be nice to see someone come along and start beating Nadal and Djokovic on a regular basis. Make it exciting for tennis, make the last few Slams for them uncertain and let's have lots of dramatic outcomes.

  • Tennis TV, if you're reading this, please do something with the vocabulary of your commentators, encourage them to widen it a bit, cause everytime we are watching highlights , we can just hear "phrases by default" such as ", that's so good, incredible etc." Which make it sounds so robotic and generic, and it doesn't adds up with any action to the physicality which tennis players leave in the highlights. Also if possible add some analytics to the highlights , or smart breakdown of the points described by the commentators. Overwise it will sound bland and artificial all the time. Many thanks .

    • @conductor_ phurngirathaanaHow can a fact be idiotic? "Sinner didn't come close to beating Nadal and that's a "fact" too" So? I never said he was CLOSE to beating Nadal. I just explained to you that close and closest do not hold the same meaning. What is wrong with you? The whole point is that Sinner did a better job against Nadal than the likes of Djokovic and Schwartzman, and that is mighty impressive for a 19 year old. Why are you trying to make an argument out of that?

      Kieran RankieKieran RankieIl y a 20 jours
    • @Kieran Rankie Sinner came the closest to taking a set no denying that But put and hold stated he came the closest to beating Nadal which is kind of a stupid statement to make

    • @Kieran Rankie yes it's a fact Doesn't change the "fact" that it is "idiotic" Sinner didn't come close to beating Nadal and that's a "fact" too

      conductor_ phurngirathaanaconductor_ phurngirathaanaIl y a 20 jours
    • @conductor_ phurngirathaana Here we go again... Another non-native English speaker thinking they know everything. 'Closest' does NOT imply that it's close. It can still be far away but the closest. It simply means closer than the others. You're making a fool of yourself because you don't understand the difference between adjectives, comparatives and superlatives. Saying Sinner was CLOSEST to taking a set is 100% correct. There's no debate to be had. It's a fact.

      Kieran RankieKieran RankieIl y a 20 jours
    • @Kieran Rankie looks like they don't teach common sense in your country Closest is irrelevant when it's not even close He came the closest to taking a set You get the 1000 1200 1300 ranked tennis players and say that the 1000 ranked is closest to Novak Djokovic in skill level that's an idiotic statement to make

    • @EghotheTennisGamer369 Lol, he had 6 break points, and blew all of them, Caruso didn't do anything special, just kept the ball in play, Felix dispatched himself, it was like, he actually wanted to jinx himself! I knew, something would happen, and he wouldn't break, I just felt it, he was probably thinking in his mind, can I mess this up, I really wanna see, if I can keep messing these bp chances up, and the answer, was a YES!

    • FAA has a real strategy issue in his game. He looks like he does not know what to do to win his match, just look how he returns , most of his shot are right in the middle of the court with big bounce. That is not effective tennis, that is not tennis based on confidence, it is not a winning strategy. In fact FAA is actually lost on the court, and does not seem to have a clue of how to win his matches even when he wins.
