    • @sandrabullock18 . com Oh, come off it, nobody needs a hall monitor in here. the comments section is for all kinds of comments, not just positive ones. As for watching more tennis than I, how in the world would you know that? I've been playing for 40 years, and watching for longer than that. I think a lot of younger tennis fans equate good tennis with effort and athleticism, because that's mainly what they've seen. That's due to advances in technology and fitness; it's what works now. I've seen all the recent stuff and also much more variety due to the more widely varying court speeds and technologies of the past. Grinding is honorable, but common; I can grind, you can grind, according to our willpower. But no matter how much I wish it, I simply cannot direct a half-volley off my shoetops to the back corner of the court like Federer or Navratilova does. What they do is artistry--that's what's worth seeing. And when Millman comes to the net and tries it, he shows himself to be the limited player he is. Asking me to watch a grinder erase his shoes on the court for four hours is like promoting a painter because he can crank out three portraits an hour. I'm genuinely glad for you that you get pleasure from watching a video that I find tedious. At the same time, I would love it if people would spend more of their time on more elevated content than glorified sprinting.

      BarnstableBarnstableIl y a 26 jours
    • @sandrabullock18 . com I'll grant you that he is somewhat interesting because his style is unusual. But that only goes so far. Do you also string your rackets at below 40psi like he does? I would be useless holding a trampoline like that.

      BarnstableBarnstableIl y a 26 jours
    • @Barnstable Also as a tennis player with a style similar to Mannarinos but much much worse, I find this match particularly interesting.

      sandrabullock18 . comsandrabullock18 . comIl y a 26 jours
    • @Barnstable lol I’ve probably watched more tennis than you, just being honest. I’ve watched hours and hours of tennis highlights. This was pretty entertaining to watch imo. Millman is a good grinder, and Mannarino plays a really unique style. If you don’t want to watch it, simply don’t. No need to bitch about it in the comments.

      sandrabullock18 . comsandrabullock18 . comIl y a 26 jours
    • @sandrabullock18 . com Disagree. The world is chock-full of hard work. What is the attraction of watching that? I can be happy for the guy without watching several minutes of mundane, uncreative shotmaking by two very fit and determined athletes. Please, get on FRworld and search for literally any highlight of Edberg or McEnroe, or even Henman or Santoro, to see truly entertaining tennis. This match is the equivalent of a hot dog eating contest.

    • @Montanso Mate, different coaching opinions are key, Rafa, Roger, and novak needs some new insight to get even better.

      James OsullivanJames OsullivanIl y a 29 jours
    • @James Osullivan I will be happy if he can. He has the groundtrokes, serve isnt a weapon but is solid. What he lacks the most is game planning and different patterns to end points. Its good that he can stay in long rallies with anyone, but he is wasting the potential of his groundtrokes by not pulling the trigger more as you said. I think maybe a new coach could help.

      MontansoMontansoIl y a 29 jours
    • @Montanso Not impossible, hes getting better, simply needs to pull the trigger more on the backhand, and chase some off forehands. Right now, hes not good enough, but I hope he will be.

There's something lost in translation when just watching on TV, all of these guys are absurdly good. Does he have the best forehand on tour? Not by a long shot lol.
